The Town Musicians of Bremen - set to new music!
Four animals – called ‘NeEsel’, ‘Hund’, “Schmatze” and ‘AuaHahn’ – meet in Bremen. All four have one thing in common: they are homeless for different reasons. The donkey said ‘Nah, I’m not doing that!’ to every work assignment. The dog didn’t care, he never barked and was therefore completely unsuitable as a guard dog. The cat didn’t want to chase mice any more, preferring to become a star, and the cockerel just shouted ‘Ouch – Ouch!’ instead of ‘Cock-a-doodle-doo’. No wonder the animals were thrown out on the street by their owners. In addition to this shared fate, they are also united by their love of music – and so they come up with a plan: they want to really take off as a band in Bremen, the music city par excellence. At the big Bremen casting show, they not only compete against the ‘Crazy Chicken’ and ‘Funky Wolves’, but also against the ‘Bad Rats’ – 3 rats who are up to mischief in Bremen. There are many obstacles to overcome. Will they succeed? The four animals definitely need the help of true (fairytale) fans!
