How can I pay you?

You can pay us in cash and with all common debit and credit cards. We accept these following debit and credit cards: Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, JCB, UnionPay, V Pay, Diners Club und AliPay. We do not have an ATM. However, the nearest ATM is only 5 minutes away on Marktstraße in Krumbach.

What is the weather like?

Is there wi-fi on the premises?

W-LAN is available in the Kulinarik-Stadl, Kaffeehaus, Eis-Zeitreise and the farm shop, but not on the rest of the grounds.

Where is the site?

Ask at the Adventure Park cash desk or in the farm shop if you miss something. If you only notice that you have lost something when you get home, please send us an email using the contact form.

Can I buy a NÖ-Card from you?

Unfortunately, that’s not possible. However, with an existing NÖ-Card you get a one-time free admission to the adventure park.

Am I allowed to stop at the car park with my caravan?

Yes, but please send us a request beforehand to info@eis-greissler.at. However, you will not be able to connect your caravan to water or electricity, and the sanitary facilities are closed at night. We also ask you to leave the caravan park tidy and to take your rubbish with you or dispose of it properly. There are great caravan sites at the Krumbach countryside lake.

What other excursion destinations are there in the vicinity?

Particularly nice excursion destinations nearby are Mandl’s goat farm, Schwarzbräu, Kölbl schnapps distillery, Krumbach museum village, Wexl Arena with summer toboggan run, Mönichkirchen adventure pasture and the Ederer alpaca farm.

Adventure park

Where can I buy tickets for the adventure park?

The quickest and easiest way is via the Ticket Shop on our website. Online tickets are also slightly cheaper. For those who decide quickly, tickets are also available at the Kassahaus on site.

Do I have to print out my ticket on paper, or is it enough to show it on my smartphone?

It’s enough to show your ticket on your smartphone.

What can I do if I have not received my ticket?

It can take up to 30 minutes to receive your tickets by email. If you still haven’t received them, please check your spam folder. If they are not there either, contact us via phone or email.

Can I change my tickets to another day?

Yes, in your confirmation email you will find a link that allows you to change your tickets to another day for a surcharge of €1.50 per ticket. Please note that rebooking is only possible until the park opens on the day booked.

How does the Annual Pass work?

With the annual pass, you can visit the adventure park 365 days from the date of issue. If you bought your annual pass on 01.04.2023, it is valid until 31 March 2024.

An annual pass can only be issued on site at the Adventure Park ticket office up to 2 hours before the park closes. Each annual pass is personalised with a name and a picture. The picture for this is taken on site at the Erlebnisparkkassa. Therefore, each person for whom an annual pass is to be issued must also be present in person. Unfortunately, a picture brought along will not be accepted.

If you would like to visit us with your annual pass, we recommend that you reserve a ticket in advance via our Ticket Shop. Simply select a “special ticket” and you can safely enter the adventure park on your desired day.

If you want to give an Annual Pass as a gift, we recommend our Annual Pass vouchers. They are the ideal gift that is guaranteed to put a smile on anyone’s face. Our Annual Pass vouchers can only be purchased online via our voucher shop.

How does an annual pass upgrade work?

If you decide to buy an annual pass after an adventurous day at the Adventure Park, you can upgrade your annual pass. To do so, go to the Adventure Park ticket office. Your day ticket will then be upgraded to an annual pass.

An annual ticket upgrade can only be made on the day of issue of the day ticket at the Adventure Park ticket office. The invoice for the day ticket is required. All persons for whom an annual pass is to be issued must be present, as each annual pass is personalised with the name and a picture. The picture for this is taken on site at the Erlebnisparkkassa. Therefore, each person for whom an annual pass is to be issued must also be present in person. Unfortunately, a picture brought along will not be accepted.

Can I come to the manufactory and the adventure park all year round?

Not quite. We usually take a seasonal break from just before Christmas until the beginning of March. During this period, the entire Eis-Greissler manufactory and all shops are closed.

Can I return to the park if I leave it briefly, for example to get something from the car?

Yes, you get a stamp at the turnstile, which you can use to easily get back into the park.

Are dogs allowed in the adventure park?

Unfortunately not for legal and hygienic reasons. However, you may take your dog into our coffee house, into the Kulinarik-Stadl and onto the terraces. We will also be happy to bring him a bowl of water there. And there are numerous paths around the manufactory where you can take your dog for a walk.

Is the adventure park barrier-free?

Yes, our adventure park is completely barrier-free.

Can I go swimming with you?

No, our lily pond and raft pond are not swimming or bathing ponds. You will still get wet in the water park, so bring a change of dry clothes.

Can your animals also be stroked and fed?

Our animal enclosure is not a petting zoo – the goats and rabbits are happy to have visitors, but please do not feed or stroke them. We feed them enough food that is suitable for them and our vet takes loving care of them.

Is the adventure park suitable for prams?

The paved paths in the adventure park and the coffee house are suitable for prams. You can enter the park via the triangular ticket booth. Take the path past the coffee house along the water lily pond. It is suitable for prams and wheelchairs. The paths in the park are a little steeper here and there – there are some hills in the Bucklige Welt.

Can I consume food I have brought with me in the adventure park?

Unfortunately, you are not allowed to bring your own food into the adventure park. However, we have two kiosks that provide you with hot meals, snacks, drinks and of course ice cream.

Does the adventure park also open when it rains?

If it rains only lightly or briefly, the adventure park is open. In the event of thunderstorms or heavy rain, however, the park must remain closed or close earlier. There is no entitlement to cancellation from the time the ticket is redeemed or to rebooking from 09:00 on the day of arrival. In the event of heavy thunderstorms with no prospect of improvement, the park may not be open. If you have a ticket in this case, please send an email to info@eis-greissler.at.

When is there little going on in the adventure park?

This depends on various factors, such as weather, holidays, special promotion days and events. There is usually less activity during the week – except on days off. There is also less activity on cloudy days and outside the high season (July/August).

Eis-Zeitreise

From what age can my child go on the ice time travel?

For safety reasons, children are only allowed to take part in the Ice Time Journey if they are 4 years old and 1 m tall.

Which groups of people are not allowed to visit the Ice Time Journey?

As our ice time travel is a multimedia experience with VR, fog and motion effects, it is unfortunately not suitable for everyone. Therefore, children under the age of 4 and under a minimum height of 100 cm are not allowed to go on the Ice Time Journey. Persons who cannot close the safety bar properly due to physical limitations, persons who exceed the maximum weight of 136 kg, as well as persons with health limitations or with heart, back, neck or epilepsy complaints are also not allowed to take part in the ice time travel. There is also an increased risk for pregnant women and people under the influence of alcohol.

Can I take my backpack/bag with me on the Ice Time Journey?

Not quite. In certain areas of the Ice Time Journey, such as the old train carriage or the test kitchen, you can carry your backpack/bag. However, loose objects, bags or rucksacks are not allowed in the adventure cinema. However, you can leave your items on site at your own risk. (We do not accept any liability for this).

What safety instructions do I need to follow during the Ice Time Journey?

To ensure your safety during the Ice Age journey, there are some rules to follow: Extending arms, legs and other objects is prohibited. Use the simulator at your own risk. We are not liable for any damage to clothing caused by the use of the simulator. Children are not allowed to sit on the lap. In order to ensure your safety, it is essential to follow the instructions of the staff.

Can my child go on the ice time travel unaccompanied?

No. Children under 8 years of age may only ride when accompanied by an adult.

Where can I buy tickets for the Eis-Zeitreise?

The quickest and easiest way is via the Ticket Shop on our website. If the tickets for the Eis-Zeitreise are not sold out, remaining tickets are also available on site. You can purchase these at the ticket counter up to 10 minutes before the selected time slot. However, it’s best to buy your tickets online so that you don’t make the trip to Krumbach for nothing.

How much earlier should I be there?

Please arrive at the Ice Time Journey entrance 10 minutes before your time slot so that we can start on time. If you are late, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to enter the Ice Time Journey at another time slot.

What can I do if I have not received my ticket?

Yes, you can also visit the Ice Time Journey with an impairment. At the moment, it is not yet possible to book online. However, we are working on it. Please come to the Ice Time Journey desk and we will find a solution together. A maximum of two people with disabilities can take part in one time slot.

Is the ice time travel suitable for prams?

Prams are not allowed in the Ice Time Journey. You are welcome to leave your pushchair in the entrance area while you visit the Eis-Zeitreise. (We do not accept any liability for this).

Do I get a reduction with the Lower Austrian Card for the Ice Time Journey?

Unfortunately not. With the NÖ-Card you have no advantages in the ice time travel. However, with the NÖ-Card you get a one-time free entrance to our adventure park.

Can I change my tickets to another day or time?

Unfortunately not. The tickets are booked for a fixed day and time and cannot be changed. This is not a problem, however, as the Ice Time Journey can also be visited in bad weather.

Can I take photos or videos during the Ice Time Journey?

No, this is not allowed as it would be disruptive to the experience.

Gastronomy

Do I have to reserve a table for the Kulinarik-Stadl?

Our Kulinarik-Stadl is particularly busy at lunchtime. We therefore recommend that you reserve a table for lunchtime. You can make your table reservation online right now.

Do I have to reserve a table for breakfast at the coffee house?

We recommend that you book your breakfast table online in advance so that we can guarantee you a table.

Can I reserve a table in the coffee house or on one of the terraces for the afternoon?

Unfortunately, no. However, there are enough seats available, so you’re sure to find a table.

Ice cream

Do you use raw milk or raw eggs for your ice cream?

No. Our milk comes fresh from the cowshed, but is pasteurised before we make ice cream from it. We only use eggs for our butter biscuit ice cream, but they are also pasteurised.

Are your stanitzels gluten-free & vegan?

Our stanitzels are vegan, but not gluten-free. They are made with wheat flour and therefore contain gluten.

Do you have any gluten-free ice creams?

Yes, we have a wide range of gluten-free ice creams. For example, all our fruit ice creams are gluten-free. You can find the allergen list for each type of ice cream on our ice cream board.

Do you have any ice creams without added sugar?

Yes, we always have at least one type of ice cream with no added sugar in the ice cream display cases. This means that we do not use any conventional sugar for ice cream production. The sweetness comes from natural fruit or milk sugar or naturally produced sugar substitutes or sweeteners.
